We are graduates in Islamic Studies, but our true connection with the Qur'an began when we learned the importance of reciting it as it was revealed—with proper Tajweed, Makharij, and Sifaat. Before that, like many others, we didn’t know the rules. We just read the Qur’an without understanding the responsibility it carries.
After graduation, we realized that many Muslims still recite the Qur’an without applying its proper rules. That inspired us to start teaching online—so we could reach beyond our local area and connect with students worldwide.
It all began with just two students. They appreciated not only our teaching style but also the kindness, structure, and sincerity in our approach. From those two came ten, then twenty, and eventually hundreds, alhamdulillah.
What started from passion has now become the foundation of Maryam Quran Academy—a system built on:

We are honored to have Sheikh Mufti Omar Sheriff Qasimi as the official Consultant of Maryam Quran Academy. A highly respected Islamic scholar, Mufti Omar Sheriff has dedicated his life to spreading authentic Islamic knowledge across the globe.
